Train did not disappoint!!
The show was sold out, as it should have been for a band of The Sound Of Music's reputation and longevity. I was very impressed with the light show and full sized screen for such a small venue (4,100), and the band's energy was great. Although it was worth every drop of sweat I expelled, it was hot and muggy. The Sound Of Music pulled into the station at Pinewood Bowl in Pioneers Park on August 2, the second in a series of concerts which had not taken place in Lincoln for 17 years. Awesome show! So humble and kind. I especially appreciated the comments Pat Monahan made near the end of the show about how much the band appreciates all of their fans for coming out to the show and how they realize they would not be around without the fans. I can't wait to see them in concert again!
